Ringly Raises $5.1M in Series A Funding

LaunchCollectionRingly, a NYC-based smart jewelry line maker, raised $5.1m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from High Line Venture Partners and Silas Capital and follow-on investments from First Round Capital, Mesa+, Social+Capital and Brooklyn Bridge Ventures.

Christina Mercando, Founder and CEO, Ringly creates jewelry and accessories that connect to mobile phone and notify owners about the things that matter most. Items are crafted with an 18K matte gold 3 micron plated setting and precious and semi-precious stones. They are available in US sizes 6, 7 and 8.
An iOS and Android app allows users to connect the ring and receive phone calls, texts, emails, out-of-range-from-phone notifications, calendar alerts and a variety of popular applications (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Uber, eBay, Tinder, etc.)
