Hahow Raises US$10M in Series B Funding

Hahow, a Taipei, Taiwan-based online learning platform providing courses across diverse media formats, raised US$10M in Series B funding.

The round was led by UMC Capital, a fully-owned subsidiary of United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) and the National Development Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to integrate new forms of media into its course offerings and enhance its one-stop digital learning services.

Led by Arnold Chiang, Hahow is a multidisciplinary course platform expert in content adaptation for the digital learning context. The company has worked with 600 instructors and helped produce close to 700 courses.

In 2020, the company launched Hahow for Business, a suite of online learning services designed for enterprises.
