Taranis Raises $40M in Series D Funding

Taranis, a Westfield, Indiana, Tel Aviv, Israel, and Campinas, Brazil-based provider of an AI-powered crop intelligence platform, raised $40M in Series D funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $100m, was led by Inven Capital, with participation from Seraphim Space Investment Trust, Farglory Group, Vertex Growth, Viola Ventures, Vertex Ventures Israel, La Maison Partners, Hitachi Ventures, K3 Ventures, UMC Capital, OurCrowd, Micron Ventures, iAngels Ventures, Presidio Ventures, Cavallo Ventures, Finistere Ventures, and Eyal Gura.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate its growth, global expansion, and investments in technologies to make the agri-carbon market a reality for growers.

Led by CEO Bar Veinstein and President Ofir Schlam, Taranis is a provider of AI-powered crop intelligence platform focused on helping ag advisors demonstrate value to their growers and build relationships through full-service, leaf-level data capture that allows them to accelerate decision making, simplify management, and improve their bottom line.
