Cesarine.com, an Italian food experience platform provider, raised €1.1m in funding.
Bakers included Fondo Rilancio Startup managed by CDP Venture Capital Sgr and Finalca, holding company of Cazzola family. The round is still open with a final target of €3m.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and the business reach, nationally and internationally, the evolution of the marketplace model and the extention of the online store and marketing efforts.
Founded by Davide Maggi and led by General Manager Maria Letizia Zuffi, Cesarine.com is a platform featuring 1.500 chefs across 450 cities in Italy, who create food experiences such as dinners, lessons, tours, etc., and original products, which cannot be found in large scale retailers, e.g. made according to the recipes of the chefs of the company’s networks.
