Boxbot Wins 2016-2017 UC Berkeley $250k Startup Challenge

Boxbot, an Oakland, CA-based robotic service for last mile logistics, won Pear Ventures’ 2016-17 UC Berkeley $250k Startup Challenge.

Boxbot will now become part of Pear’s portfolio and community. The Palo Alto, CA-based venture capital firm will help the company accelerate growth and realize their vision.

Founded in 2016 by Austin Oehlerking, CEO, and Mark Godwin, CTO, Boxbot is a robotic service that automates last mile logistics, reducing delivery costs while improving the customer experience.
As part of the Challenge, Pear will donate 10% of its equity in Boxbot back to UC Berkeley.
