Tender Greens, a Californian fine-casual restaurant concept with 22 locations across the State, received a minority investment of undisclosed amount.
The deal was led by Alliance Consumer Growth (ACG), along with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG). As part of USHG’s investment, Danny Meyer will join Tender Greens’ Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the proceeds to grow the Tender Greens brand in California and beyond.
Co-founded in 2006 by Erik Oberholtzer, David Dressler, and Matt Lyman, Tender Greens is a fine-casual restaurant concept which provides healthy, farmer’s market inspired food in an eco-friendly space.
There are currently 22 California locations in Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, and the Bay Area.
