Crittercism Raises $30M in Funding

crittericismCrittercism, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of mobile App Performance Management (mAPM) platform, raised $30m in funding.

The round was led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from InterWest Partners, Accenture and VMware. As a part of the funding, Andy Vitus, Partner at Scale Venture Partners, will join Crittercism’s board of directors.

The company, which has now raised more than $48m, intends to use the funds to build out its suite of enterprise services and continue growing its presence internationally.

Led by Andrew Levy, CEO, and Rob Kwok, CTO, Crittercism provides a mobile application performance management (mAPM) solution, which monitors every aspect of mobile app performance, allowing Developers, IT Operations and Product Managers to deliver mobile apps. It provides a real-time global view of app diagnostics across iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Hybrid and HTML5 apps.
The company also announced the addition of a zero-touch App Wrapping solution, which allows IT Operations teams to apply performance management capabilities to a mobile app integrating an SDK and adding code to their app. It can be combined with other enterprise app wrapping solutions to provide data on quality of new app releases.
The service will be available in the next weeks.
