Crittercism Closes $5.5M Series A Funding

Crittercism, a San Francisco, California-based provider of a Mobile App Performance Management (APM) solution, has closed a $5.5m Series A funding round.

Backers include Opus Capital, Shasta Ventures and Google Ventures.

Led by co-founder and CEO Andrew Levy, Crittercism provides a Mobile APM solution that offers a real-time global view of app diagnostics across iOS, Android and HTML5.
The platform captures, processes and analyzes real-time mobile application performance data such as app loads, crash reports, system logs, handled exceptions, transaction tracing, and other detailed diagnostics. This approach allows developers to focus on the most important issues, pinpoint why their app is crashing, analyze user behavior and track custom attributes in order to optimize app performance.
