Personal Development Bureau Raises Additional £25K through CrowdCube

Personal Development Bureau, a Croydon, UK-based company that helps police, fire service and other forces personnel cope with unemployment, has raised additional £25k in crowdfunding through the CrowdCube platform.

This represented a Phase 2 funding after that the company had previously raised £25,000 from 68 investors in October (read here).

In this latest “round”, 20 investors took a 15% equity stake in Personal Development Bureau, which aims to help ex Forces, ex Police and ex Fire services personnel, to get a new job through a 220 strong team of independent specialists and providers.

The company, which is led by Rupert Honywood, intends to use the funding to expand into other vertical markets over time (e.g. Ex NHS).
