Rocket Ninja, a San Francisco, CA-based social games and apps company entertainment, raised $3.5m in Series A funding.
The company, which emerged from stealth mode today, has already launched its first Facebook title, Ocean Kingdom, and has other titles in internal production for release in the next six months.
Rocket Ninja is also negotiating deals marketing and publishing deals with several independent developers.
The management team is led by CEO Oded Pelled, an experienced veteran in online media and private equity management. and includes CTO Randy Fish, and executive producer Neil Haldar.
