Optony Inc., a Santa Clara, CA-based provider of solar power deployment services and thin film photovoltaic technology, has closed $6M in financing.
The proceeds will be used to accelerate the company’s technology development and expand its services, to cover both the United States and China.
Optony, which has offices in Thornton, CO, and Beijing, China, helps governments and businesses make intelligent decisions about complex solar projects across the entire system lifecycle.
The company has also been developing high efficiency thin film solar technologies in collaboration with the U.S. National Renewable Energy Lab.
