Maintenance Assistant Inc., a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based Enterprise 2.0 community for computerized maintenance and electronic asset management (EAM), completed its first round of expansion capital financing.
The round was led by Verdexus, with participation from the Golden Triangle Angelnet Niagara Venture Forum and the company’s management.
Maintenance Assistant intends to use the funds to expand its product offering and grow top-line revenue.
Led by CEO Marc Castel, the company develops enterprise 2.0 software for asset and maintenance management. Maintenance Assistant’s flagship product, MA Free CMMS™, is a computerized maintenance management software, which is offered either as a standalone server installed behind the firewall or as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.
