Beekeeper, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a employee communications platform, closed $5m venture capital funding round.
The round was led by Fyrfly Venture Partners with participation from b-to-v Partners, Polytech Ecosystem Ventures, and angel investors Ariel Luedi and Niklas Ostberg. In conjunction with the funding, Luedi and Fyrfly Venture Partners’ General Partner and Co-Founder, Philipp Stauffer, joined Beekeeper’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth of its platform in retail, hospitality and manufacturing markets.
Led by CEO Cristian Grossmann, and CTO Flavio Pfaffhauser, Beekeeper provides a mobile-first employee communication solution featuring secure communication, engagement, and analytics tools allowing non-desktop workers to collaborate with peers, as well as provide feedback, ideas, and best practices that increase their connection with the entire organization.
The company currently has 50 enterprise clients with end users in more than 100 countries.
