dizmo Raises $2M in Funding

dizmodizmo, a Zurich, Switzerland-based provider of a software platform to manage all digital stuff, raised $2m in funding.

The round was led by Ariel Luedi, CEO of hybris, who will join dizmo’s board of directors. Patrick Luetjens and Francois Stauebli also participated in the round.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the business scale-up and its time to market.

Led by CEO and Founder Matthias Aebi, dizmo has developed patented interface technology that gives users full access and control of their digital world of content, data, services and objects from any source, on any display and any platform.
Users can freely create, instantiate, arrange, manipulate, combine and share, even remotely, any kind of digital content and services, as well as monitor and control connected physical objects.

In March 2014, the company raised $43,826 from 464 backers via Kickstarter (read here).
