Italian banking group UniCredit has just launched the second edition of its acceleration program dedicated to support startups and their innovations.
UniCredit Start Lab focuses on startups operating in Life Sciences, Clean Tech, Digital and Made in Italy sectors.
The applications must be presented within April, 30, 2015.
During the 12 month program, selected startups will receive mentoring and learning services, access to networking opportunities to enhance their growth. They can also receive grants, equity investments, as well as dedicated loans.
The first edition of the initiative saw 800 participants, 43 selected companies, 4 companies receiving grants, and an investment (in Qurami, a Rome-based provider of an app “that queues up for you“).
It also operates a Milan-based fintech accelerator (read here).
