EatStreet, a Madison, Wisconsin-based online ordering site, raised $2m in funding.
The round was led by Cornerstone Opportunity Partners with participation from Great Oaks VC, Independence Equity, and gener8tor.
The company intends to use the capital to expand into new markets.
Founded in 2009 by by Matt Howard, CEO, EatStreet is an online ordering service that connects users with favorite hyper-local restaurants (outside of big cities). The company’s online restaurant listing shows all the diners in a defined area and allows users to order for delivery and pickup online.
Free to use, EatStreet operates a rewards program.
It is currently present in 20 cities with over 1,000 restaurants.
