10CMS Raises £1.6M Octopus Investments

Curlet Limited (trading as 10CMS), a London, UK-based commerce content management platform for global brands and retailers, has received a £1.6m investment from Octopus Investments.
The company intends to use the funds, which were provided by the Octopus Titan VCT funds, the Eureka EIS Portfolio Service and the Octopus Venture Partners, to develop its product and build its sales and marketing team.
10CMS’s commerce content management platform provides online retailers with a single toolset that allows them to add interactive content modules to existing eCommerce web sites.
The existing modules, including Carousels, Collections, Buy the Look and Shop Landing Pages, are designed to enable retailers to merchandise from existing media with the addition of “Select and Buy” options, and to showcase more products on high traffic web pages.
The company, which is led by co-founder and CEO James Brooke, offers its product as a Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solution and gives the opportunity to extend from web sites into mobile devices and Facebook.
