North AI, a Manchester, UK-based AI powered insights platform for the media and entertainment industry, raised £580K in Pre-Seed funding.
Backers included Innovate UK, and SFC Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to further enhance the AI development, which will help streamers, producers, studios and advertisers make smarter decisions over their content.
Led by CEO Rishi Kapoor, Lucas Cazelli and Oleh Kurtianyk, North AI uses artificial intelligence to predict the value of premium video content. Its AI model measures and predicts global demand by combining its own AI model with primary data from real audiences to predict future returns and impact for video content. The insights support streamers, studios, UGC creators, producers and agencies across pre-production, distribution and acquisition.
North AI helps the film and TV sector analyse the commercial risk, potential gains and marketability of old and new titles, with plans to expand into the advertising space further down the line.
