Jena Raises £1.2M in Pre-Seed Funding Round

Jena, a London, UK-based provider of a vertical SaaS platform for solopreneurs, raised £1.2M in Pre Seed funding.

The round was led by True and Gfund, with participation from angel investors including Rob Small (Founder of Miniclip), David Pritchard (Founder OpenTable Europe), Misha Gopaul (Founder Fatmap), David Szekely, George Graham (Founder Wolf & Badger), and the angel collective Ventures Together, among others.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and customer growth.

Founded by Jean-Michel Chalayer and Nabil Freeman, Jena is an Operating System (OS) for solopreneurs to run their business. As part of the offering, users receive a full tech-stack: website, AI-powered booking system, payments, CRM, marketing, and e-commerce in one app.

The company is continuously adding new features such as an AI-powered booking agent to automate scheduling, Klarna payment integration, and Tap to Pay functionality.
