Torg, a Berlin, Germany-based food sourcing startup, raised €2.7M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Connect Ventures with participation from FoodLabs, Sondo, Ventures Together, Sameer Singh and Jonas Meynert.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its development efforts, and its supplier database.
Co-Founded by Hans Kristian Furuseth, Ben Holdham, and Rita Kerbaj, Torg provides a platform that connects food service product suppliers and buyers. The marketplace enables retail and wholesale buyers to find and connect with 100,000+ verified food and beverage manufacturers across private label and foodservice categories.
