Pi-xcels, a Singapore-based provider of digital receipt solutions, raised US$1.7M in funding.
The round was led by Wavemaker Partners, with participation from other venture capital firms such as Hustle Fund, Amand Ventures, Black Kite Capital, and angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its reach in the retail landscape, consolidate key projects in Japan and Southeast Asia, and expand in Europe.
Led by CEO Daniel Lim, Pi-xcels provides digital receipt solutions. Leveraging app-less NFC technology, retailers can issue paperless receipts directly to smartphones, delivering enhanced customer experiences and data-driven insights. The solution also simplifies the compilation of e-receipts for official claims with a single sign-on, resulting in easy to use wallets for end-users.
Furthermore, the interactive receipt serves as a gateway to omni-channel marketing, enhancing pre- and post-sale experiences for shoppers and providing retailers with expanded marketing avenues. Simultaneously, Pi-xcels offers real-time, comprehensive transaction intelligence, providing valuable data-driven insights for retailers.
