Kidsy Raises Over $1M in Funding


Kidsy, a Chicago, IL-based online retailer for baby and kids products, raised over $1M in funding.

The round was led by Impellent Ventures. Other investors included Hustle Fund, Everywhere Ventures, Responsibly VC, The Fund Midwest, Jason Robins, Jenny Fleiss, Mike Salguero, Reilly Brennan and Sanuk Tandon.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts.

Co-founded by Shraysi Tandon and Sinan Sari, Kidsy sells products for babies and children offering a wide selection of new and open-box items including strollers, car seats, toys, travel gear, nursery furniture and other baby essentials. It does it by partnering with brands, retailers and liquidation companies to help manage their overstock and returns inventory. Kidsy offers these products to consumers at deep discounts, preventing these overstock and liquidation items from ending up in landfills.
