Bobsled Raises $24M in Funding

Bobsled

Bobsled, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of a cross-cloud data sharing platform, raised $24M in total funding.

The $17M Series A funding round co-led by Greycroft and Madrona follows a $7M seed round led by .406 Ventures. With the raise, Brentt Baltimore, Soma Somasegar, and Graham Brooks joined Bobsled’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to build out its data sharing platform, which allows providers of analytics data to share data products with customers across cloud platforms.

Led by CEO Jake Graham, Bobsled provides a Data Sharing Platform that helps data providers, SaaS companies and other providers of valuable analytics share data products into the platforms where their customers and partners work.

The platform orchestrates the sharing of data between any data lake or warehouse using the protocols native to each platform – all without the complexity of multi-cloud management.
