Bit9 + Carbon Black Raises $54.5M in Series F Funding

bit9Bit9, a Waltham, MA-based provider of an endpoint security platform, closed $54.5m in Series F funding.

The round was led by current investor Accomplice’s new EarlyAccess program with participation from other existing investors .406 Ventures, Blackstone, Highland Capital Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Sequoia Capital and new investors Evolution Equity and Founders Circle.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, product innovation and international expansion.

Led by Patrick Morley, Bit9 (Bit9 + Carbon Black) is a provider of a Next-Generation Endpoint Security platform to prevent, detect and respond to advanced threats that target users, servers, and fixed-function devices.
The company serves almost 2,000 customers worldwide.
