Veo Robotics, a Waltham, MA-based innovator in intelligent safeguarding for industrial robots, raised $29M in funding.
Backers included Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, Safar Partners, and Yamaha Motor Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its strategy of working with selected corporate partners to deploy a new class of efficient and collaborative, human-in-the-loop robotic solutions enabled by its proprietary safety technology.
Led by CEO Clara Vu, and CTO Clara Vu, Veo Robotics is an innovator in intelligent safeguarding for robots. Its flagship product FreeMove is a 3D intelligent safeguarding solution which has received functional safety certification to Performance Level D, enabling humans to work closely with the full range of standard industrial robots from FANUC, Yaskawa Motoman, ABB, Kawasaki, and Kuka.
The full investment round including earlier closings totals $29M.
