WellTheory Raises $7.2M in Seed Funding

WellTheory, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a solution to support individuals with autoimmune disorders, raised $7.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Accel with participation from Lux Capital, Box Group, Scribble Ventures, Rock Health, and the CEOs of Maven, Everlane, Pillpack.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by Ellen Rudolph, founder and CEO, Claire Rudolph and Wallace Torres, WellTheory provides personalized, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle coaching.

The company combines food as medicine, community care, and personalized insights from health data to build a membership experience that supports women no matter where they are in their autoimmune journey. The company’s team has deep startup experience, including at Oscar Health, Dropbox, Everlane, and Bill.com.
