Athennian, a Calgary, Alberta, Canada-based cloud-based business entity management technology company, raised $33M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Centana Growth Partners with participation from Arthur Ventures, and Touchdown Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue taking a proactive approach to scaling its business.
Led by CEO Adrian Camara, Athennian provides software that powers legal, tax and finance teams to seamlessly digitize, streamline and manage business entities and company structures. Clients can manage and automate workflows for ownership, governance, tax, and corporate compliance.
Over the last 24 months, the company has grown rapidly with a 500 percent increase in annual recurring revenue. In addition, the company has reached over 2,500 users and has nearly 400,000 business entities managed on its platform.
Athennian also has a second office in Toronto, with additional team members located across the U.S.
