Lottie Raises £2.5M in Seed Funding

-

Lottie, a London, UK-based digital marketplace for the search of residential care, raised $2.5m in seed funding with a £27.5m valuation.

The round was led by Kindred, with participation from Zoopla executive, David Wascha, as well as former Airbnb and Facebook director, Caroline Hudack. Tom Blomfield and Lendable co-founder Victoria van Lennep also reinvested.

The company intends to use the funds for expansion of its marketplace and care concierge services across the UK, as well as extending its offering to the independent living sector, and for building the business’ expert team of local care and technology professionals in addition to developing the technology.

Launched in July 2021 by brothers Chris Donnell and Will Donnelly, Lottie is a comparison website for residential care as well as independent living, which offers a concierge service as well.

Already profitable, the company has grown its marketplace from 200 properties in London and the South-East of England, to over 1,000 quality-focused facilities across England.
