Halo Investing Raises Over UD$100M in Series C Funding

Halo Investing, a Chicago IL-based platform for protective investments, raised over $100M in Series C funding.

The round was led by Owl Capital with participation from Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners, Allianz Life Ventures and William Blair.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach, investing in new markets, entering into more distribution channels and into new asset classes.

Co-founded by Biju Kulathakal and Jason Barsema in 2015, Halo provides a technology platform for protective investment solutions. Headquartered in Chicago, with offices in Abu Dhabi, Zurich, Dubai, and Singapore, Halo focuses on putting “impact before profits,” providing access to impactful investment opportunities previously unavailable to most investors. Through the Halo platform, financial advisors and investors can access structured notes, market-linked CDs, buffered ETFs, and annuities, as well as a suite of tools to educate, analyze, customize, execute, and manage the most suitable protective investment product for their portfolios.
