Cytrio, a Boston MA-based data privacy compliance startup, raised $3.5M in seed funding.
The round was led by Dreamit Ventures, Food Retail Ventures, and Rockwood Group. The raise also included the company’s founding team, including Vijay Basani, Chief Executive Officer; Pankaj Parekh, Chief Privacy Officer; and Darshan Joshi, Chief Technology Officer.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Cytrio makes data privacy compliance simple, automated, and cost-effective for mid-sized enterprises, taking a holistic approach to privacy rights management and offering a single all-in-one solution built on automation, AI-led data discovery, and automated response workflows.
