#paid Raises $15M in Series B Funding

#paid

#paid, a New York and Toronto, Canada-based marketing platform for creators, raised $15M in Series B funding.

The round was led by Sands Capital with participation from Ascential, Vanedge, BDC Capital, Arati Sharma, Web Smith, Nik Sharma, Murda Beatz, Jasmine Lorimer, Ryan Millier, Alen Palander, and The XO Crew.

The company intends to use the funds to develop its platform offering and expand to new digital channels.

Led by CEO, and Co-Founder Bryan Gold, #paid provides a creator marketing platform that allows direct-to-consumer and Fortune 500 brands like Phillips Hue, Everlywell, Unilever, and Sephora, to activate creators to scale their marketing efforts, and reach new audiences with creator-generated content that is more relatable to their customers. This also enables creators to monetize more channels and increase their brand collaborations and income.

This fundraising follows the launch of #paid’sCreator Licensing Tool, a feature that allows brands to license creator content and gain advertising access to creators’ social media profile for whitelisted ads, to drive more brand awareness and sales.
