Misha’s Kind Foods, a Los Angeles CA-based plant dairy alternative company, raised $3M in seed funding.
The round was led by Marcy Ventures Partners Fund II with participation from L.P., Chris Paul, Lisa Shamus & Partners.
The company intends to use the funds for product development, retail expansion and staff growth.
Led by co-founders Aaron Bullock (CEO) and Chef Ian Martin, Misha’s Kind Foods is a plant dairy alternative company that offers a cheese line that includes:
- Sari (sundried tomatoes, roasted garlic, cilantro), Joi (jalapeño, oregano, thyme),
- Lox (dill, capers, roasted carrots),
- Seven Point Five (jalapeño, habanero, strawberries),
- French Connection (herbs de Provence, grains of paradise, black olives),
- Smoked Cheddar (smoked paprika, chipotle) and
- Black Truffle (black truffle, shallots).
