Pomp & Whimsy, Inc., a New York-based gin brand, raised $2.6M in seed funding.
The round was led by El Dorado Spirits with participation from Golden Seeds, Oxford Angel Fund, and Next Act Fund, as well as
- Rebecca Minkoff;
- Michelle Grant;
- Regina K. Scully; and
- Cindy Gallop.
The company will use the new funds to accelerate growth in key markets. Distribution will expand through current and new distribution partners including Breakthru Beverage Group and Allied Beverage, Republic National Distribution Company, Opici Family Distributing, and Favorite Brands.
Led by Nicola Nice, the company also plans to build on its e-commerce business through its partnership with Thirstie.
