Groq, the Mountain View, Calif.-based inventor of the Tensor Streaming Processor (TSP) chip, recently closed its current funding round.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The round was led by new investor D1 Capital Partners and included new strategic investors such as TDK Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to pursue new projects in multiple sectors, doubling headcount in 2020, and again in 2021.
