Matillion, a Manchester, UK and Denver, Colorado-based provider of data transformation software for cloud data warehouses (CDWs), raised $35m in Series C funding.
The round, which brought total funding to date to $60m, was led by Battery Ventures with participation from existing investors Sapphire Ventures and Scale Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds for growth and extension of the capabilities of Matillion ETL.
Led by Matthew Scullion, CEO, Matillion provides a software platform for users to extract data from a wide number of sources, load it into their chosen cloud data warehouse, and transform that data from its siloed source state, into analytics-ready data – ready to be consumed in analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence use cases.
