Typeform Raises $35M in Series B Funding

Typeform, a Barcelona, Spain-based conversational data collection platform, raised $35m in Series B funding.

The round was led by General Atlantic with participation from existing investors Index Ventures, Point Nine, and Connect Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Chris Caulkin of General Atlantic, will join the company’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate the expansion of its platform, product development, and international growth.

Founded in 2012 by co-CEOs David Okuniev and Robert Muñoz, Typeform provides a cloud-based SaaS web application which allows customers to create and distribute dynamic, mobile-optimized forms to collect data for a variety of business uses.
Global leaders from the Fortune 500 across the technology, retail, and hospitality industries use the platform to optimize customer feedback collection, employee engagement and reviews, and lead generation.
The company is now involved in enhancing and expanding its API tools and capabilities available for developers to create complex typeforms and connect to users with OAuth 2, integrating the technology into customers’ existing portfolio of products, developing more custom-made survey forms.

Typeform currently employs 170 people.
