Sparrho, a London, UK-based science discovery and curation platform, raised $3M in Pre Series A funding.
The round was led by White Cloud Capital with participation from AllBright and Beast Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the team and scale the platform.
Led by Dr. Vivian Chan, CEO and Co-founder, Sparrho provides a platform that combines AI with expert human curation to summarize and share research.
The company provides access to over sixty million research papers, patents and publications and has a community of one million users across more than 150 countries including a large network of PhD researchers, academics, alongside students and citizen scientists.
To date, users have pinned and shared over 700,000 pieces of scientific content using the platform.
