Henge Docks, a San Francisco, CA-based designer of docking solutions for Apple devices, raised $1.6m in funding.
River Forest Capital Partners made the investment, which valued Henge Docks at $50m.
The company intends to use the funds to expand on its current product lines as well as break into new markets including enterprise and education.
Led by Matthew Vroom, CEO, Henge Docks designs docking stations and software allowing integration of devices within the Apple ecosystem. The company’s flagship product, Horizontal Dock, automatically unites a MacBook and devices into a comprehensive unit.
Other product lines include: Vertical Dock for MacBook, Gravitas for iPhone and iPad, and Clique for Apple Magic Trackpad and Magic Keyboard.
