The PPF Group made the investment.
The company, which has raised $22m to date, intends to use the funds for tech development and international development and expansion.
Founded by psychiatrist Dr. Kris Naudts, Culture Trip focuses on bringing personalized content and recommendations around culture, food, and travel via a personalized user-experience. The platform leverages proprietary Knowledge Graph technology, which uses AI technology to customise and tailor content discovery across its platforms. More than 30,000 articles and videos have lready been published to offer users cultural, travel and food recommendations wherever they are in the world.
The company has offices in London, New York City, and Tel Aviv alongside 40 local hubs of editorial contributors.
