Cloud Research Process Design Software Riffyn Raises $4.6M

Riffyn, an Oakland, California-based developer of cloud research process design software, raised $4.6M in funding.

Backers included Siemens Venture Capital, Bioeconomy Capital and O’Reilly Alphatech Ventures (OATV).

The company will use the funds to accelerate the launch of its platform, which is currently in private beta and will be released for commercial use in August 2016.

Led by Timothy Gardner, Founder and CEO, Riffyn provides a cloud-based software computer-aided process design and data analytics platform to R&D organizations in the life science, chemical and food industries – supporting them from early-stage discovery to manufacturing development and pre-clinical trials.
