Blis, a London, UK-based provider of a location data technology platform, secured US$25m in funding.
Backers included new investors Endeit Capital, Beringea US and Unilever Ventures. Silicon Valley Bank provided additional credit facilities. In conjunction with the funding, Martijn Hamann, Endeit Capital; Mark Donnelly, Beringea US; and Ian Lane, Unilever Ventures, will join Blis’ Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds for the continued expansion into new markets, including the US, scaling of international sales and marketing activities, enhancement of core data engineering capabilities, as well as development of new product features.
Led by Greg Isbister, Founder and CEO, and President Harry Dewhirst, Blis provides a platform that gives accurate location data and contextualized consumer behavioural insights for advertisers. Operating in over 50 markets from eight offices throughout APAC and EMEA, the company serves media agencies, publishers and brands including Airbnb, Ford and Samsung.
