Switch Raises $1.4M in Seed Funding

switchSwitch, a NY-based developer of a mobile job discovery marketplace, closed a $1.4m seed funding round.

The round was led by Rhodium and Metamorphic Ventures with participation from BAM Ventures, SG VC, and strategic New York-based angel investors. In conjunction with the funding, Daniel Recanati, CEO of Rhodium, joined the board of Switch.

The company plans to use the funding to build out the team in New York City and scale into other major technology markets across the United States, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Austin, and Washington, D.C.

Led by Yarden Tadmor, CEO and Founder, Switch provides job seekers with a free and anonymous place to connect directly with businesses looking to hire. Employers and candidates can be matched up with a smartphone swipe and start communicating immediately through a chat platform this moving forward the hiring process to the interview stage within minutes and hours.
Switch automatically generates an anonymous profile using existing résumé data, allowing job seekers to connect, directly and discreetly, with hiring managers and internal recruiters at companies like Facebook, Yahoo, Crowdtap, Taboola, Dropbox, Wikipedia, MadisonLogic, Dstillery, Gartner, SoundCloud, etc.
