Sumo Logic Raises $30M

sumologicSumo Logic, a Redwood City, CA-based machine data analytics company, raised $30m in funding.

The round was led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from existing investors Greylock Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures and Accel Partners.

The company, which has now raised a total of $80.5m, intends to use the funds for geographic expansion into EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, development of go-to-market initiatives, and addition of technical functionality to the platform.

Led by Vance Loiselle, CEO, Sumo Logic provides customers with a cloud-based analytics platform that leverages Big Data for real-time insights for IT operations, application management, and security and compliance teams.
Customers include GoGo Inflight, McGraw-Hill, Medallia, Netflix, Orange and SolarCity, among others.
