Temporal.io, a Seattle, WA-based state management systems company, raised $103M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Index Venture Capital with participation from Sequoia Capital, Amplify Partners, Madrona Venture Group and Addition Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the team with a focus on developer empowerment, grow the open source community, and develop new features for its cloud offering.
Founded by Maxim Fateev and Samar Abbas, Temporal.io provides a platform that enables developers to create applications using familiar tools that make them productive. Developers write business logic – not glue code – and Temporal takes care of the rest. It is used by Netflix, Doordash, Snap, Box, Stripe, Hashicorp, Coinbase and others.
