YD, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based programmatic display advertising platform for direct advertisers, has appointed Thomas Triscari as its CEO.
Triscari, who brings over 15 years experience in digital media, will lead the company’s growth and international expansion into the U.S. and beyond on the heels of its €4.6m Series A funding (read here). He most recently served in director positions at Yahoo! and Criteo, where his focus was on building and managing international commercial teams on the demand side, supply side and business intelligence.
Following the new appointment, YD co-founder Mendel Senf will become chief revenue officer.
Founded in 2008 by Senf, CEO, YD focuses on the aviation and telecommunications industries and works with airlines such as Air France-KLM, Transavia, LAN Airlines, Air Berlin, Air Transat and Icelandair as well as with telecommunications companies (T-Mobile, Telekom Deutschland, UPC) providing them with real time bidding functionalities to show personalized ads only to new and existing interested customers.
The company currently employs over 60 people and works from 5 offices worldwide.
