Okta, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of enterprise-grade identity management service, closed a $27m Series D funding.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow in North America and to expand internationally. To this end, it added Philip Turner as its first European general manager.
Led by Todd McKinnon, CEO, Okta is an enterprise-grade identity management service, which integrates with existing directories and identity systems, as well as on-premises, cloud-based and mobile applications, to enable IT to manage access from any device.
Customers include more than 500 enterprises, including Allergan, LinkedIn, MGM Resorts International, Western Union and SAP.
