AngelList Raised $24M in Funding

AngelList, the San Francisco, CA-based platform of startups and investors, recently raised approx. $24m in funding.

According to Dan Primack/Fortune (read here), the company was valued at around $150m.

Backers included Atlas Venture, Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Marc Andreessen, Max Levchin and Ev Williams and over 100 other institutions and individuals.

Co-founded by Naval Ravikant, Founder & CEO, and Babak Nivi, President, AngelList is a platform for startups to meet investors, people to hire and incubators.
The company recently launched – teaming up with SecondMarket – Invest Online, a platform that aims to simplify investing by moving the entire process — payments, accreditation and fund management — online and lets accredited investors make investments as small as $1K in many startups on AngelList.
