ThetaRay Receives Investment from GE

ThetaRay, an Israel-based provider of solutions to prevent Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and Zero Day Attacks, received an investment of undisclosed amount.

GE (NYSE: GE) is joining Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP).

Founded by Professor Amir Averbuch of Tel Aviv University and Professor Ronald Coifman of Yale University and led by Mark Gazit, CEO, ThetaRay has developed technology that leverages patented algorithms to provide detection and prevention of APT and Zero-Day attacks on critical infrastructure, strategic installations, communications systems and major financial systems.
The company’s solutions have been tested in major governmental and defense organizations as well as corporations.
