Bright!Tax, a NYC-based tax accounting firm, received an up to $50k equity investment from UpTech, a Northern Kentucky business accelerator.
In addition to financing, the company will also receive office space, professional support services and applied research assistance from Northern Kentucky University.
Founded by CEO Greg Dewald, Bright!Tax provides a cloud based income tax preparation solution for Americans living abroad. With almost seven million potential clients, the company has attracted clients from more than 50 countries in its first year in business.
