AppNeta, a Boston, MA- and Vancouver, Canada-based provider of cloud-delivered services for IT performance management, raised $16m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, Egan-Managed Capital, JMI Equity and Business Development Bank of Canada.
Led by Jim Melvin, CEO, AppNeta provides customers worldwide with performance management services. The company’s technology and SaaS product portfolio include full-stack application and comprehensive end-user experience monitoring, active application path performance monitoring, application aware user traffic analysis, automated packet capture and analysis for troubleshooting, and device-level operational metrics for infrastructure health and management.
In June 2012, AppNeta acquired Tracelytics, which provides an application performance management solution, now known as TraceView, that offers Web developers a holistic view of complex, distributed Web applications across multiple software layers, machines and languages.
